Here I generally rant about my work as a student-slash-scholar, and try to sound like I'm having a very hard time at it, while I actually enjoy the wole thing. Posts will most likely only be done in high-pressure periods, when I need to blow off some steam, and, notably, to distract myself from the actual task at hand. Typos and errors abundant.

A few quick facts: I boil my water for coffee or tea at least 3 times - this is no compulsion; just absentmindedness causing the water chill before I get around to pouring it. Greatest fear: Getting stuck away from home with nothing to read - this, on the other hand, is a genuinely neurotic quirk - which causes really heavy travelling-bags... I am very much hoping for a carreer in academia, but if this fails I simply count on living off my genius (not a very sustainable long term plan...) My girlfriend is studying to be a priest, which means that I will be the vicar's wife, serving the tea... On the serious side I am a graduate student of religion and psychology, mainly concerned with cognitive science and postmodern western religion. I have published a few papers and presented som stuff at conferences in Scandinvia, but I hope to achieve a ph.D. scholarship once I get my extended master's degree in about a year to year-and-a-half.
